7. Now highlight the MJPEG Decompressor on the right hand side and click on Set Merit.
8. Close out of both windows by clicking on the red X in the top right corner
9. Now restart your computer then turn it back on
10.Now you can open up the RVP Analysis system and play your video clips
How do I set the appropriate computer settings to run at full screen?
Appropriate Computer Settings
1024 by 768 will play at full screen (for Windows XP Right click in an open space on the desktop of your computer and go to Properties; select the Settings tab and change Screen Resolution or for Windows Vista, right click on your desktop and go to Personalize and select Display Settings).
My Buttons are not showing up on the bottom of the Introduction Screen.
This is caused by a large dpi setting on your computer and may be adjusted as follows: Right click on your desktop away steering away from any icons. Left click “Properties.” Select the “Settings” tab at top. At the bottom of the settings menu, click “Advanced.” Go to the “General” tab and set the DPI setting to Normal size (96 dpi). Then click “Apply.” You may have to restart the computer for the changes to take effect.

If you have received any error message, call or email our office for further instructions. We will need the exact error message and details of what you were attempting to do at the time you received it.
I installed my extra models and there is no icon.
There will be no icon for the Pm300, NPF Pm300 or NPF Hm300 since they are additional models being added to an existing analysis system. These are not stand-alone products.
My program freezes when trying to capture.
When naming students/swings do not use slashes, commas or other punctuation that Windows does not allow.

Both systems are fine for our program but we have found the Windows Vista 32 bit version to be less complicated and contain fewer bugs then the 64 bit version.
I just upgraded to the 2009 edition. Can I transfer my old PlayerData to the new system?
Current IS300/CE300 Users who Upgrade

●If you previously had RVP on your computer and want your saved data to show up in the new program or if your pro models are not showing up:
CV300- Copy the entire PlayerData Folder that is found in Local Disk C:/Program Files/Common Files/SmartView Software/PlayerData and Paste it into C:/RVP Products/SmartView Software (merge folders)
CE300/IS300- Copy the entire svSwings Folder that is found in Local Disk C:/Program Files/SmartView Suite/svSwings and Paste it into C:/RVP Products (Merge folders)
Firewire 800 vs 400
FireWire 400 is a high-speed, hot-swappable peripheral interface that supports data transfer rates of up to 400 Mbit/sec. Due to it's speed and hot-swap capabilities, FireWire has become widely used on DV camcorders. FireWire 800 (IEEE 1394b), the next generation of FireWire technology, doubles the throughput of the original FireWire interface to 800 Mbit/sec and dramatically increases the maximum distance of FireWire connections! FireWire 800 (IEEE 1394b) can be added to a desktop computer using a FireWire 800 PCI card or in the case of a laptop computer with a FireWire 800
CardBus card.
(Note: to differentiate the original version of FireWire from the 800 Mbit/sec version, the original version is now being referred to by many as FireWire 400 or IEEE 1394a).
Dramatic Increase in Distance
Not only is FireWire 800 twice as fast as before, but it can be used over much longer distances. FireWire 800 (IEEE 1394b) allows the use of various types of cabling, each offering different speed/distance capabilities. A FireWire 800 cable will connect devices up to 32 feet away, while a FireWire 800 optical repeater will connect devices up to 1000 meters (3300 feet) away!
Is RVP compatible with Windows 7?
Yes; the RVP Analysis Systems and Instruction or System Add On's are compatible with Windows 7.
Is RVP compatible with MAC?
The system is compatible with Windows XP, Vista or 7 and Mac with Boot camp and Mac's latest operating system with XP. It will NOT work with Parallels or Fusion software because these programs run on top of the MAC OS. Boot Camp with Windows is the ONLY sufficient method (boots windows separate from MAC) and also your computer needs to have a Firewire port as well.
